Dominus Games, a blockchain game publisher best known for operating the Yul-Hyul-Gang-Ho (열혈강호) IP, announced its investment in FunnyStorm, the new studio founded by Bobby Yu (Yu Choong-Gil), the creator of Hello Hero, Angel Stone, and C9.
FunnyStorm aims to lead the next generation of LBG (Location-Based Games) by combining real-world mobility with advanced gameplay systems. The company plans to expand the LBG genre into the blockchain space by integrating NFTs and Web3 mechanics into location-based mobile experiences.
The synergy between the two companies points toward a future where Pokémon GO-style real-world exploration games meet NFT ownership and blockchain-based rewards.
Dominus Games is preparing to mint its Yul-Hyul-Gang-Ho Black Wind Society NFT Collection in June and has partnerships with companies like Mgame, Studio Genius (Director Yang Woo-seok), groupHUG (led by Randi Zuckerberg), and Sonnori (CEO Lee Won-sul).
